155MM M777 on the move

Saw a strange load this morning on the 417 East as I drove in to work ( Ottawa ) , a civilian tractor and trailer, hauling a smashed up car on the higher point of the trailer and on the lower spot there was what I think was M777 all wrapped in plastic, bubble wrap and other cloth like bags.

Guessing the exercise is over and they are sending stuff back to the Home units or?
