17-year old Pre-BMOQ: How can I get ready for the CAF appearance standards???

You are wrong. If, somehow, someway, their haircut doesn't meet the requirements, direction will be given. You have to be able to wear head dress. An 18" Mohawk does not allow that. It may not require cutting but it does require alteration. I didn't say they would have to get a haircut, I said...

17-year old Pre-BMOQ: How can I get ready for the CAF appearance standards???

Uhh, we're not all robots speaking code. There is no single answer, but in general: Don't be arrogant, don't be mouthy, and don't talk when you should be listening. Ironing, bed making will all be taught. Be able to read the room and conduct yourself in way that not make people dismiss you...

    Liberal Minority Government 2021 - ????

Good. Change is positive and cheaper houses are good. It's not like the long term residents will lose money, they just to get to be less greedy. New entrants suffer the consequences of bad decisions. Go, go Jane Jacobs.

    C3 Howitzer Replacement

They tried that in the 90s. We stored their ammo for the 106 RR they got from us for a year. Didn't work out for them. Back to Palaci the next year.

    C3 Howitzer Replacement

Spent a month and half there. We filled over 100 triwalls with munitions scrap and found some live. Back breaking work. The piles of PCB filled and leaking transformers were a bonus. Got to stay at the Lombard hotel, that was nice. The Sunday brunch was great and we would run back from the yard...

    C3 Howitzer Replacement

That's because we can dispose of the projectiles internally by detonation. Burning large quantities of propellant (or SAA) is now problematic because we have no disposal facilities that can handle truely large quantities of prop and any quantity of SAA without contamination concerns. In the past...

Unprovoked Toronto Subway Murder Suspect Was “out on numerous releases"-Article 27/03/2023

My dad was a Toronto cop in the late 40s, early 50s. Toronto was never Toronto the good. Don't view history with rose colored glasses, the past was shittier than the present.

    Updated Army Service Dress project

It'll be Arial. Arial is Microsoft's copy of Helvetica without the Swiss grace so Microsoft didn't have to pay licensing. Helvetica isn't available on Windows as a native font.

    Ukraine - Superthread

I've also loaded and fired 105 Tk, and both 120 Tk systems. All just as fun and famils, but it did give me some insight. However the night at a Holiday Inn five years ago was much more educational.

    Ukraine - Superthread

Yeah Chally uses and entity different family of ammo. Separate loading projectile, charge bag, and primer. The primers (called vent tubes) are in a mag so that speeds up loading.

Civilians can be ordered to do overtime. I have been, and have directed to do so. I always make sure there are funds available. That's the sticking point. The collective agreement says OT should be paid the next pay period. If you don't have the SWE, you can't direct the OT. Do it once without...

    Canada's tanks

It's too bad the Army doesn't have sort of engineering establishment for land equipment. At least we have an air engineering establishment that can figure out how to make mounts for mine plows and rollers.

CFAO 55-10 The Creation And Awarding Of Canadian Forces Flying And Specialist Skill Badges

There's a good chance that is the newest. CFAOs were slowlyr eplaced by DAODs in the early 2000s and the CAF is shitty at admin so a lot of CFAOs were just left to exist and not get updated.
