Yup, for sure - the ask was for a "… provide specific references to ‘overthrowing the government’ ...", and some would say the document could be seen in that light. YMMV.

Don't forget that when Canada got its Maple Leaf flag in the mid-60's, there was a fair bit of opposition to losing the old flag, too, with six weeks of Commons debate & filibustering leading to a 163 to 78 vote in favour of it. "Why can't things be like in the old days?" isn't a new thing in...

When seen in other countries, "requests" for government bodies to step down, backed by masses of people and vehicles pissed with said government heading to the capital to ensure some action could be seen in that light. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder - YMMV.

And let's be honest - the tough conversations can be tough to have. Yeah, I know if someone's a boss, that's what they get the big(ger) bucks for, but that factor isn't zero either.

The weak link in these chains is the willingness of 1) the supervisor/managers to do all the steps needed (in writing as needed, too) to document the problem, and 2) the directors to support said supervisors/managers. I've talked to public sector union people (not in my own union) who've said...
